Researcher Profile

PhD in History. Professor in the Department of History at the University of Zaragoza. She is a member of the Institute for Heritage and Humanities Research (IPH-UNIZAR), the Spanish Society for Medieval Studies (SEEM), and the International Commission on the Anthropology of Food (ICAF).

Her research work (five six-year periods recognised by the National Agency ANECA) falls within the fields of social history, cultural history, and historical anthropology. Member of the R&D&I projects research team —since 2022: «RENAP—Natural resources and productive activities in the interior spaces of the Crown of Aragon (14th- 16th centuries)» (2022-2025, PID2021-123509NB-I00); «EADIA—Agricultural expansion and industrial development of Aragon in Mediterranean Europe from the 14th to the 16th centuries» (2025-2028, PID2024-155361NB-I00).

Her main books are: Silenced Lives: Medieval Women of Daroca (2024); Medieval Aragonese Wills: Rites and Attitudes towards Death (2002); The city of Daroca at the end of the Middle Ages (1999); Inquisitorial processes in Daroca and its Community (1996).
